First off the staff is rude! We booked the room telling them we had a dog. During check-in I stated we had a small dog. We left to go eat and I was called by hotel staff regarding our dog. She's a 12 pound, 8 yr old dog that never barks. I was told she was disrupting guest. We left dinner and headed back to the hotel. She was barking. Not the issue. The issue was, the lady with green hair hung up on me 5 times while I was trying to talk to her. She was rude, disrespectful and raised her voice at me, telling me we didn't tell them we had a dog. Our itinerary even states we had a small dog. Upon arriving at the hotel, she again cut me off while I was talking. We packed our stuff, got our dog and upon leaving she made a "white people" comment. We tried to demand a refund because we literally we're there 2 hrs. She told us management refused a refund. That's fine keep the money. But my issue is,you hung up on me 5 times. We made a "white people" comment. I am disappointed in how they handled the entire situation.
We came in off of driving 20 straight hours from Arizona, and I had messed up on our bookings. Staff handled it very professionally, and had a lot of humor with it too. I would stay here again, the next time I come to St. Louis. Absolutely loved the place. Friendly staff, great room conditions, comfortable beds. Two things that would've made my stay better are, updates to the fitness room, and better floor conditions, they were fairly sticky.
My fiance and I enjoyed the stay overall, we loved the area, very peaceful and quiet, however, we did not think the front desk clerks were very professional... when we tried to check in on Thursday night / Friday morning, it was around 2 am, the girl acted like we woke her up, and she was not happy and courteous to us at all... then when we tried to check out on Saturday morning, we encountered another girl who was trying to "tend" to the coffee stock, she told us to "JUST leave your key cards on the counter", I told her I would like to have our receipt please, she went to the counter and printed it for us...but not too happy again... I just wanted to let you know so maybe you can train the staff in that context that when you are a front desk clerk, you need to be cheerful and courteous at all time, because that is not a very good impression to the guests... that's all I got... Thanks again for a nice stay!!
Front desk person was nice, polite, and helpful. Room was clean and very nice. I typically stay in the $50 a night range of hotels and this was one of my favorites. I also have two dogs and there were no extra charges. The floors were laminate wood of some sort, which was fantastic. I always worry about the fur my girls leave behind but those floors are easy to thoroughly clean! I would use this place again if I'm in the area, and will definitely try motel 6 more often!
Your motel was horrible. I checked Saturday morning. As I’m in the shower the employees bangs on the door unstop and opened my door and left it open while I was in the shower. So I had to come the door naked in front of a stranger. I also showed the email that I didn’t check out until that Sunday afternoon. So after I finished showering I went showed them my receipt and they still charged me as well I had to check out. What I don’t understand is how do I get checked out a day before I’m supposed whole I’m showing the exact receipt. I’ve never felt embarrassed and disrespected in my life. Motel 6 will never get my business ever again. Who opens the door while someone is showering and on top of that I showed you my receipt.
