The wait is longer than most fast food restaurants but you can see them make your food every step of the way. In my opinion is well with the wait.
Ok so when we walked in there was not greeting. Then when I tried to ask about a sandwich I was cut off with a "Is this for here or to go?" Smh.. the good part is he did help us with which sandwich to choose and what toppings worked best. When paying for out food we were greeted with yet again nothing... the girl ringing us out never even spoke when my husband said "hey how are you?" The manager was very kind. He gave us cookie samples in our meal and spoke to us tanking us for coming. I just wished his politeness rubbed off on his team.. overall the food was great, fries were hot and fresh. The lemonade tasted pretty old and watery. I swapped for a fountain drink instead.
Never disappoints. Wally runs an excellent restaura t. Have been coming here for well over a decade and never had a bad experience or less than great food and service. Some Penn Stations just do the minimum, but Wally's store is the epitome of awesome.
The food was great most of the employees were nice. One was cold and unfriendly. She seemed bothered by us ordering our food. Im not in any rush to get back .
The man at the counter was less than pleasant. Barely looked at me when I walked in, then while I was trying to figure out my order, my phone rang. I said, "I'm sorry, one sec." and he huffed and slumped on the counter. After about 30 seconds, another guy came over, the first guy motioned toward me and mumbled something, then walked away. When I placed my order, I asked for no pickles. Unfortunately, when I got back to work, I find that my sandwich didn't have ANY of the extra toppings. That was my fault for not checking before leaving. I'll think twice about visiting this location again as I have no patience for rude employees.
Love this place. I always get the italian. The people are always nice. Try the lemonade some time it is a good change of place from drinking soda all the time and is good.
